Happy Mother's Day!!

I don't remember everything my mother tells me, but I always remember how great she makes me feel when I spend time with her. I love you mom!

Why my mother is great

This gift would be amazing, considering my mother and I both share a love for porcelain tea sets. The fragility, the beauty. It would mean the world to add Russian porcelain to our collection.

As for why my mother is so special? Aside from simply being my mother, she is also the woman who knows, and I mean she knows everything. No matter what you try and hide from her, she will discover it. If you're upset, she knows and your phone will ring across cities, across provinces, no matter what. If you're not feeling well, she will give you her remedies and check in on you even as an adult. This is why she is great, because her intuition is unparalleled and I love her for it.

At the end of the day...

Growing up, I pushed my mom away. I resented the fact that she gave my younger brother more attention than me. Since moving away from home I've realized that being a mother was hard for her sometimes and my brother did need her more than I did. I've realized that she's supported me all along without me realizing it and I wouldn't be where, or who, I am now without her.
Now we are close friends and although we live on opposite sides of the country she is still a great mom.

My mom is the greatest!

My mom adopted me and my brother when I was an infant and he was 4 years old from Siberia. Every Christmas she buys me a tea cup from Ekatrina and save it for me for when I get married. I thought this was the greatest thing she could do for me and I love it! I love my mom with all my heart!

Happy Mother's Day

I had a great mother who taught me many things but she has passed away.  Would love to win this for my daughter who is a great mom and now a grandmother. She has been a single mom for many years and provided for her son. She works hard and always has a smile and never lets on when something is wrong.  She lost her dad 8 years ago and such a loss.  She is the most unselfish person I know and really deserves this.

Cherished Gift

My mom instilled in me a love of finely crafted things, not because of their monetary value but because of their craftsmanship and beauty. I hope to pass this on to my children.

My Dear Mom

My Mother came over from Russia and made a life for herself in America. She grew up very poor .Because of this she made sure that even though we were not rich we felt rich in other ways. Family meals, family gatherings , family history and traditions were part of my growing up. My Mom and I has some rough times but she always let me know that she was there for me and loved me.

My Loving Mother

My mother always told me growing up that I could do anything I wanted to do. She always encouraged me with positive input and has always been there for me as my personal cheerleader! She instilled a strong work ethic in me and set a wonderful example of how to do a job well and find value in it.

She has also supported me and indulged me in my love of everything tea. She knows how much I love Russian porcelain and would love to collect more of it. My mom is the best!

Mom to the rescue!

My mom moved in with my family when I had twins 14 years ago.  She stayed up all night feeding the preemies (2lbs & 3lbs!) every hour and a half with my husband and me.  She was amazing!  Thank goodness, we convinced my mom to stay on with us as the twins got older.  Right now, she's in my kitchen baking a pie!  Mom is my best friend and the best mother-in-law and grandmother we could ever ask for.

My mother taught me compassion

When I was 8 years old, my father was dying of cancer & even though my parents were divorced, my mother took care of him and never complained about it once. She always talked very well about him to my sister & I and took us to see him in the hospital frequently. When he passed, she showed great strength in helping my younger sister & I grieve our loss & I will never forget how compassionate she was to my father, sister & I during that time. I love my mother for being a kind, compassionate human being who put others before herself.
